Your home for the week is a private villa near Platanias, just outside the picturesque city of Chania in western Crete.
Think nature views, olive trees, pool, cosy shared spaces and corners where you can hide away with your journal or a book and a sandy beach with crystal clear blue water where you can soak up the mediterranean sun...
Western Crete is where blue and green meet: beaches and coves, hills covered in olive groves, small villages and local tavernas. It’s relaxed, safe, and offers a taste to what real Greece is like.

Hi, I’m Laura – teacher, retreat creator and warm Mediterranean soul on her own ongoing reset journey.
For years, I lived in permanent “performance mode”: teaching, caring, studying, over-giving.
On paper, everything looked fine. Inside, I felt exhausted, disconnected from my body, and quietly wondering,
“Is this really it?”
What slowly saved me wasn’t one big dramatic change, but a series of small, stubborn choices:
learning to listen to my body, saying “no” without apologising, rediscovering joy in simple things and spending more time by the sea and in nature.
The Mediterranean way of living – slower, connected, present – became my teacher.
I created the Blue & Green Mediterranean Reset Retreat for the woman I used to be:
responsible, capable, tired, and so ready for a different way of living – but not sure how to begin.
My role is to hold a safe, judgment-free space where you can soften, be fully yourself and gently try on new ways of relating to your body, your time and your joy.

Your Questions Answered
Definitely! Most women join solo. By the end of day one, it rarely feels that way anymore. The group is intentionally small and I pay close attention to creating a safe, inclusive atmosphere.
Do I need yoga experience?
Not at all. All movement is gentle, adaptable and invitational. You’re always free to rest, modify or simply lie on your mat and breathe.
What if I have dietary needs?
We can usually accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free and some other needs. We take into consideration your preferences and do our best to serve. Share your requirements in the application form and we’ll confirm what’s possible before you commit.
Absolutely.
To reserve your spot you only need to pay a small fixed deposit €600.
The remaining amount can be paid in 2–5 equal instalments up to a specific date before the retreat starts. We’ll agree together on a simple payment plan that works for you and send you reminders, so you don’t have to think about it.
Your deposit is, of course, deducted from the total price of your retreat.
May in western Crete is usually warm, bright and gentle – one of the loveliest months of the year.
Daytime temperatures are typically around 22–27°C, with some warmer days towards the end of the month.
Evenings can feel cooler, especially with the sea breeze, so a light layer is useful.
The sea is usually comfortable for swimming for most people who enjoy cooler but refreshing water.
In short: think sunny Mediterranean spring turning into summer – perfect for yoga, sea time and exploring.
Flights are not included.
You’ll need to book your own flights to Crete.
The nearest airports are:
Chania (CHQ) – this is the closest to the retreat venue
Heraklion (HER) – a bit further, but sometimes with more flight options
Once you reserve your spot:
you’ll receive recommended arrival & departure windows (ideal times to land / leave)
we’ll support you with guidance on routes and timing, and help you coordinate with other guests so transfers are easier to arrange.
Because Crete is a popular destination, the earlier you book your flights, the better the prices and options usually are.
The retreat is designed with lots of spaciousness and safety. You’re never forced to share/participate more than you want, and there is plenty of time to be on your own. Any activities, scheduled or optional are totally up to you to follow and take part in.
However, I have seen women like you opening up, sharing experiences and creating friendships from day one- inspite of their introversion.
We keep this simple and transparent so there are no surprises.
If you cancel your spot
All payments (including the deposit) are generally non-refundable.
If you need to cancel, you must email us at [email protected]. Your cancellation is only effective once we confirm by email.
Because we incur costs as soon as you book, we operate a strict no-refund policy.
In some cases, at our discretion and depending on how close we are to the retreat date and whether we can fill your spot, we may offer a partial refund minus administrative, advertising and booking fees – but this is not guaranteed.
This is one of the main reasons we require comprehensive travel insurance, so you can submit a claim if something unexpected happens.
If Reset Journeys has to cancel or make major change, your safety and wellbeing always come first.
In the unlikely event that we must cancel the retreat ourselves (e.g. due to illness, natural disaster, civil unrest or other serious unforeseen event), your deposit can be transferred to a future retreat within 12 months.
We are not able to refund or reimburse other costs (flights, hotels, etc.). These can usually be claimed through your travel insurance.
If we need to make significant changes (e.g. a venue or facilitator change) due to circumstances beyond our control, your deposit can also be transferred to another retreat within 12 months.
All other payments are non-refundable and should be claimed via your insurance if you choose not to attend.

How do I get to the retreat
We will provide detailed travel instructions and assist with arranging transfers from the nearest airport or station

This retreat is educational and supportive, not psychotherapy or medical treatment.
We’ll use tools like movement, breath, journaling and group sharing to support your well-being, but they don’t replace professional mental health care.
If you are currently struggling with a mental health condition or feel you need deeper support, we warmly encourage you to seek or continue working with a licensed professional.
After you confirm your spot, you’ll receive a detailed “What to Pack for Your Mediterranean Reset” email with a checklist.
In general, think:
-Light, comfortable clothes you can move in
-A warmer layer for evenings
-Swimwear and something you feel good wearing at the beach
-Comfortable walking shoes or sandals
and your good vibes.
We’ll make it very easy for you not to overthink it.
Good question – and important to address openly.
This isn’t a standard package holiday. It’s a small, curated, all-inclusive experience designed to support deep rest and personal reset. Your investment includes, for example:
-Stay in a private villa setting (not a crowded hotel)
-Two nourishing meals a day on most days, prepared with fresh Cretan & Mediterranean ingredients
-Daily yoga / movement / meditation sessions
-Workshops, circles and ceremonies designed for your inner work
-A private day cruise, Cretan celebration night and other group experiences
-Group transfers related to the retreat program
-Carefully designed resources to help you integrate everything when you go home and all the wonderful things I have been prepearing for you with genuine care and warmth.
If you tried to book all of this separately – villa, chef, yoga classes, sound healing, boat trip, taxis, workshops etc. – plus the time and energy to organise it, you’d likely pay far more and have far less support.
So yes, it’s an investment. But it’s an investment in your nervous system, your body, your joy and your future self – wrapped in one week where everything is held for you.
We strongly recommend (and effectively require) that you have travel insurance in place before traveling.
This retreat is an investment in yourself, and travel insurance is what helps protect that investment if something unexpected happens.
When you look at policies, search for “comprehensive travel insurance” and check that it covers at least:
-Emergency medical & hospital care abroad (including Greece)
-Medical evacuation & repatriation (getting you safely home if needed)
-Trip cancellation & trip interruption
e.g. illness, family emergency, serious events that prevent you from travelling or force you to go home early
-Baggage loss / theft / delay
-Travel delay / missed connections
